Each colourway is dyed in long repeats that turn into neat stripes on a standard 64-stitch sock, with no colour planning on your part. Silver is the classic stripe; Gold adds a sparkle strand.

about the studio

“Studio Pigeoncreek was born out of a need to raise funds for a pottery wheel.”

The wheel has since been bought, and a kiln is next on the list. In the meantime, Sheralynn spins on a Schacht Matchless, a Sidekick and a Schacht-Reeves, plies on a Hansen miniSpinner, and dyes the Zitterhall sock yarn in Perth.

When they’re not spinning, they’re knitting, weaving, quilting, sewing or making soap, with help from a black-and-white cat and a Finnish Lapphund.

Do you do custom spinning?

Sometimes, depending on the schedule. Get in touch if you have fibre you'd like spun.
